Over a number of years I've gathered a small stash of vintage quilt pieces, beautiful for their delicate patterns and very worn appearance.
I have kept these so long, waiting for inspiration towards the 'perfect' idea for their use. Needlecases and bags may not be very innovative, but I'm really enjoying the making process that involves slow hand-stitching and patching over some of the small worn sections so these become part of the partially restored piece.
I have made little crumbly vintage quilt hearts in the past - maybe it's time for a new batch. x
